Why Join a Local Church?

Please excuse this little diversion from worship on my part. I am very curious about the church; what it's supposed to be, how it should operate, what authority it has, why is it so messed up? My curiosity has led me to many studies, books and videos. I came across this video by one of my favorite pastors, Alistair Begg. In view of our upcoming membership class I thought to share it with you.
