a. Music style
b. Insincere emotion

1 comment:
Every Christian is responsible to worship God regardless of what we’re going through or who’s leading us.
Our response reveals what we’re trusting in. Only God can illuminate a worshiper’s heart, but he often uses means to do that:
1. My Example
a. Am I truly worshiping God?
b. Do I look like I am worshiping God?
c. Authenticity, not exuberance
2. Exhortations
a. Comments between songs
b. Comments between lines in songs
c. Focus on the lyrics
i. Why is this true?
ii. What difference does it make?
iii. What if this isn’t true?
iv. What’s not being said?
v. What does this word mean?
vi. What is the context?
3. Encouragement
a. Appeal to and trust in the Spirit’s activity in others.
b. Remember our goal
i. What God has done
ii. What God has promised to do
iii. Why that makes a difference
c. Focus on God, not us
