In John 16:14, our Lord states that the Holy Spirit would glorify Him. In this way I feel that the Holy Spirit has a ministry much like we do. Indeed he is our helper who comes along side of us to do that ministry. We stand in Christ, before the children of God and point to our Lord and not to ourselves. In the same way, the Spirit points to the glory of the Son. This is why I wonder at those who would imagine that the Holy Spirit would do that which would point not to the Son, but to the Holy Spirit.
